This is what my youngest is telling me we should do when faced with bad weather here! He thinks we can easily hop on a plane to Florida and be back on “our” ship whenever we want! Ah… I wish!

We had a wonderful break and a great time on our vacation. It seems we left in a nick of time as I returned to a voicemail about afternoon activity closures on our departure date!

For anyone curious, this was Royal Caribbean and our first cruise. The kids club was awesome and I highly recommend this as a great family vacation for anyone with children at least 3 years old and potty trained.

A good mix of both family time and grown up time, we all had fun!

In Grand Cayman…

The water really is that blue. They were on a sand bar swimming with the stingrays… very cool! That is our charter captain holding the stingray still.

My oldest has been wanting to try rock climbing and finally got his chance!

The kids maintained maximum energy for the entire vacation… until we got off the cruise ship. Energy levels may have lagged a bit at that point… You be the judge.

Bye Bye Florida!
