If you follow my blog, you know that this past summer I photographed a family up near York Pennsylvania for Extreme Makeover Home Edition.. The show featured the Keefer family whose college-aged son, Brian, was injured in a gymnastics accident leaving him in a wheelchair. It was such an honor to be able to be a small part of helping out a deserving family once again (I also participated in the Baltimore build in 2010).
The show aired on October 21 and honestly I was so wrapped up in my hectic, crazy fall season that I never got a chance to blog about it. You can read a bit more about the episode, if you missed it, by clicking HERE
Last Thursday, ABC announced that they were canceling the show and so I felt it fitting that I take a few moments to reflect on all the good that has come of that particular television series. It has helped a lot of families. Their series finale airs January 13 and features a build for families devastated by the Joplin Missouri tornadoes.
