I believe the friendships we form and relationships we nurture are the most important things we’ll do in our lifetimes.
One of the unexpected bonuses of running a photography business has been making new relationships with the people I have met. Some have been coming back once a year, or more, since I started taking clients in 2005. Others are new and I enjoy meeting them and look forward to seeing them again. Still others have sessions yet to come and sometimes the excitement in their voice is palpable. The people I photograph are the reason I continue; their belief in the value of what I do means more to me than I’d have ever dreamed possible.

You may recognize these total sweethearts, well, especially big sister as I have been photographing her at least once a year since she was born. It had been a year since the little one was born so it was much fun to get to see her for her one year old session. She loves her burp clothes- of all things- but hey, at least she knows how to coordinate her accessories with her outfits!
