After a reschedule due to rain, we got the perfect fall morning for a photo session.  Lucky for us, the rain hadn’t washed away the last of the leaves and that yellow provided just the perfect compliment to their red outfits!

Of course, he was mostly interested in playing with sticks (it’s a universal kid thing- and especially for a boy) and she was quite interested in taste testing the fallen foliage!  Perfect!  Kids being kids…

I  met this family on a Sunday morning after I knew the colors had actually peaked.  Lucky for us, we found a patch here or there with some beautiful color still that provided the perfect compliment to these gorgeous girls!  Of course, I photographed them with mom and dad too and choosing favorites was so difficult.  I will bet you can see by looking at these why it would be hard to pick just a few favorites to share?!

just a few more to share during my holiday proofing frenzy…

As I am in the midst of fall madness, these may have to go without words. I will let these darling children speak for themselves.

There are some adorable little girls and spunky boys (photographed back in August for the model search) now adorning the walls of Madison at Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole!  Stop by to see whose faces were chosen!  While you are there, check out the fun children’s clothing and hip styles for women too!

I’ve been photographing this family since their oldest was born.  I can hardly believe how big the baby has gotten- it feels like she was born just months ago- but no, it’s been a year and a half.  Time flies!

It’s funny because the girls were so interested in the leaves and the clovers, it took awhile for them to warm back up to the camera.  It seems my favorites came at the end of their session once they were adapted to their new surroundings.  It’s so helpful to have the time to let them come out of their shells- and so worth it.

I completely love the way older siblings hug their little brothers and sisters.  It often looks more like a choke hold, but it’s so universal- it must be love!
