I met this family less than two years ago when they had their son.  It was wonderful to be invited back to capture their daughter AND to see how the little guy has grown into a handsome, charming toddler!

I was so excited to go back and meet this little one! I had enjoyed meeting her parents weeks earlier at their maternity session and I’d already formulated some ideas for how I wanted to photograph their little girl upon her arrival.  So at 12 days old, I went back to meet their daughter.  Let me just tell you, this is one lucky family- lots of love going around.

I met this guy last August when he was a brand new little guy.  Oh that hair!  He still has the same hairline as when a newborn… but now with those big blue eyes.  I so enjoyed seeing him again and celebrating his first birthday with a cupcake.  What a sweetie!

While I really could show soooo many more from each of these short sessions, I wanted to be sure every child had their moment in the spotlight.  So here are the final six children.  One note: I was pretty random in choosing who to show in the first, second, and this last entry- ALL of these children were fabulous and I enjoyed each one of them!

Believe it or not, there’s more, but I am afraid it will need to wait for another day.  It’s my wedding anniversary today, and I have a hot date with a special someone

We had SUCH a great turn out for the Baby Madison model search.  I want to thank everyone who participated and also those interested in participating. Due to the overwhelming response, we simply could not accommodate everyone, but sure appreciate the support!

If you haven’t made it by the shop yet, you really are missing out.  They have much of their fall and winter line in already and summer clothing is on SALE!  Super cool, hip stuff!  If these don’t convince you it’s worth the trip, I don’t know what will!  By the way, for those of you out of area, you should bookmark their site as they will be launching an e-commerce site this fall!

Just a few quick sneak peeks for a great family I met recently on their community beach in Bay Ridge.  The girls were so sweet-watching them climb on the rocks, play in the water, and talking to their oldest about Harry Potter books- it truly was an enjoyable evening.

I met a family at the USNA recently for a family session.  Mom has a special connection to the naval academy having traveled from Chicago on a regular basis to train the midshipmen.  As her years of coming to the academy were coming to an end, she wanted to mark it by bringing her family and capturing them on the yard.  Though storms threatened to come that day, we lucked out and had an absolutely gorgeous morning for a photo session!

I wanted to comment as well on their clothing choices.  I thought it was great that they chose not to match, yet somehow it all works together.  I love their choice of interesting patterns with some bright colors thrown in the mix.  It really allows each person as an individual to stand out and be noticed!

Mom and Dad were so playful and fun and really set the tone for the session.  Does their daughter look like she is enjoying herself?

Of course, splashing in the fountain always brings a smile too…

And sometimes you just need a quiet moment…

Here’s a little sweetheart I photographed recently at just 12 days old.  She was so good for us- and content through the entire session.  She was having so much fun, she even gave us a smile

Mom and Dad look so peaceful with their new baby girl- I’m not sure if this is before or after their daughter relieved herself on Dad- surely not the last time she’ll do it either!
