I so enjoyed this mother and child session!  We had the worst, I mean absolute worst, luck when it came to the weather.  Without fail, it seemed to want to rain on our session dates causing multiple reschedules before we were ultimately able to get together and make the magic happen!

I met this little one two years ago when she was just one year old and it was such a joy to see her again and see how she’s blossomed into this wonderful child.  I think that these sessions with mother and child are so special and will be so very treasured!

I revisited another great family recently.  They have added to their family and their youngest had yet to be professionally photographed, plus they needed a new updated family portrait!  I’m not sharing the family picture here, need to save some element of surprise for their gallery, but here are a few peeks of the children…

I recently met a super cutie in her Annapolis home for her 9 month photo session.  I try to tell my newborn parents that 6-9 months is a perfect time for another portrait sitting and I think this little one is proof positive that it’s true!

Her big brother joined in as well for a little of the action.

I just wanted to give a little update about the Brides, Babies and Birthdays event we held over the weekend. It was so much fun and it was great to see so many familiar faces and meet some new people as well!

We had a lucky raffle winner who won a Barefoot Photography session and I will be in touch with her tomorrow!

Last week, I got to see this little sweetheart who I photographed as a newborn.  I know I sound like a broken record, but it’s so true that I love being a part of my clients’ lives and watching their little ones grow up.  I feel so fortunate that I do get to see so many of my clients year after year.  So thank you for coming back!

We met up for a special mother and child session at the park.  I don’t know many of us mothers who feel we have a lot of pictures of ourselves with our children.  I think it’s one of the most neglected photo opportunities, which is a shame.  These types of images will be amongst those most cherished by our children as they grow up.  So I was happy she was taking the time and effort to do this for her daughter, and herself.  I know they will love all of the images from our session and they will be such a treasured keepsake!
