And since I had some requests way back when I teased about the prints hanging in the shop, I will go ahead and share them here (though seriously they are so much better in person!)

This little guy was born before Thanksgiving this year- giving his family one more precious gift to be thankful for indeed.

You may remember his big brother from last fall… still as charming and adorable!

Yes, it’s that time of year, when we all feel a little harried and crazier than usual.  For portrait photographers, this time of year is especially hectic as we try our best to get everything done and back in time to deliver before the holidays.

For me, personally, this is the crazy week when I hope to get many packages out the door, finish getting all the last minute 2009 orders processed, the last few sessions promised for 2009 proofed, and maybe even start thinking about MY OWN holiday cards?  If I can accomplish all that, I might even have a day or two to do my own Christmas shopping before the boys get out on winter break.  Crazy, huh?!

After a reschedule due to rain, we got the perfect fall morning for a photo session.  Lucky for us, the rain hadn’t washed away the last of the leaves and that yellow provided just the perfect compliment to their red outfits!

Of course, he was mostly interested in playing with sticks (it’s a universal kid thing- and especially for a boy) and she was quite interested in taste testing the fallen foliage!  Perfect!  Kids being kids…

I  met this family on a Sunday morning after I knew the colors had actually peaked.  Lucky for us, we found a patch here or there with some beautiful color still that provided the perfect compliment to these gorgeous girls!  Of course, I photographed them with mom and dad too and choosing favorites was so difficult.  I will bet you can see by looking at these why it would be hard to pick just a few favorites to share?!
