Heading back to San Diego for a few days- a little business, a little reconnecting with old friends, and a wedding.  I’ll be back in the office on Wednesday October 1.  Have a great week!

All September sessions are now booked.  There are still some scattered dates available through October.  If holiday delivery is not important, consider a November session to take advantage of the changing leaves and gorgeous fall color!

Just sharing a couple sets of brothers who I met within the past couple months to photograph.  The bond between brothers is really something special. I see it with my own boys. I hope they can carry these bonds throughout their lives!

These guys were super silly.  But that’s not a big surprise with four and six year old boys at the end of a warm summer day.  Still, it’s one side of who they are right now and I was glad to be a part of it for an evening.

Of course there are always those quiet moments of complete sweetness in between the silliness…

Can you feel the bond these two have?  I love it!

Then another couple of older brothers.  These guys were another enjoyable set of brothers to be around.  We did their Annapolis session at the family farm.  What a gorgeous place for a photoshoot!  The light was wonderful that evening!  Add the location, lighting, and a couple of great guys, and I suppose I couldn’t go wrong?!

What a fun job to have- I get to meet people from all over- who I’d likely never get to meet if it were not for my profession.  The internet obviously makes it easier for people to find me, though both of these families were referred by other happy Barefoot Photography clients.

These girls came to see me in Annapolis from Bethesda, Maryland… certainly an easy trip, but a bit of a jaunt nonetheless.

And all the way from Colorado, this family arranged their session to coincide with their visit to the east coast.

Most sessions are scheduled on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. Weekend slots are very limited and for the fall season are priced at $1375 to include a $1000 print credit.  Weekday sessions do not include any prints/credits.  Sessions will be available on select Saturdays and Sundays only. Any sessions scheduled on evenings or holidays will also fall under weekend pricing.

Any sessions that occur after the 31st of October will not receive their prints until after January 1st. Likewise, orders on holiday sessions that are submitted late, after November 21, will not be ready until after January 1st without incurring rush fees. Please plan accordingly.

I am scheduling a day of mini sessions for my current clients for a weekend in October.  Stayed tuned as these may be opened up to everyone depending on availability!

Currently, I do have 3 more session slots left for September and scattered availability in October.  If holiday delivery is not important to you, consider a November session as often the leaves are changing early November and the weather remains mild enough for outdoor sessions through the month.

This family came to me from Alexandria, VA via a very wonderful family friend/second mother.  They’d been through a difficult time and were ready to celebrate the happy times that lay ahead for their family.  Our session was to help celebrate this time in their lives.

Their children were an absolute joy and I know their parents are thankful for them every day.
